In the east, the area reaches the Po Delta Natural Park, the vastest protected wetland in Italy, with more than 54 hectares filled with woods, rivers, lagoons and marshy valleys, with impressive natural environments, housing hundreds of animal and plant species. Other cities of cultural, economic and touristic relevance are Imola and Forlì, both famous for their magnificent buildings, churches and cathedrals from the Middle Age and Renaissance.
